Kasab charged murder, 86 charges by special court

Kasab has been charged with waging war against India by a special court on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. He has been charged with 86 charges and faces prosecution. Kasab pleaded not guilty against the charges. He was charged under the Explosives and the Arms Act, Customs Act.

Kasab is the lone survivor of the terrorists who attacked Mumbai face charges on murder, possessing weapons and explosives. If convicted of the charges against him he would face death penalty along with two other Indians who are believed to be a part of the LeT and having played a role in the terror attack in Mumbai on November 26, 2008.

The Paramedics arrived to take the girl to the hospital but it was impossible for the girl to enter the ambulance as the 7 ft plank was protruding from her skull, Fire and Rescue team was called for to cut the log the girl conscious throughout the process before she was taken to the Royal Hospital for sick children in Edinburgh.

This incident occurred when the young girl was playing with her friends in the woods in West Lothian, building a shelter. The structure collapsed and the 7ft plank of wood crashed into her head.

Ben Nyaumbe of Kenya encountered a 3-hour deadly battle with a Python and survived to tell the tale. Ben was wrapped in the coils of the Python when he had stepped on it accidentally; the python dragged him up a tree and when it had relaxed its grip on him a bit he was able to take his cell phone out and had made a call to his manager who arrived with a police man. Ben had smothered the Pythons head with his shirt to prevent it from swallowing him. Ben was released from the coils of the snake by the efforts of the manager and the policeman.

Ben suffered minor injuries and a cut lip from his encounter with the Python. I call this presence of mind and grace of the Lord.

The doctors confirmed that the Zhao is four inches taller then fellow countryman Bao Xishun when he had arrived at the hospital for an operation. Zhao is measured at a height of 2.46 meters, where as the current record holder is measured at a height of 2.36 meters. Zhao’s parents are of normal height they are mystified as to how their son had grown so tall. The Jamaican sprinter won three gold medals at 2008 Olympics smashing world records along the way. He also quoted that drugs would not help anyone to achieve anything and that the upcoming stars should stay away from using it. This lead to an uproar of criticism, Bolt commented this was an unfortunate situation.
Bolt has been criticized by many suspecting use of drugs in the Olympics, he responded by saying that he knew he was clean and only that matters. He was subjected to many anti dopes testing during the Olympic year.

The fans were left in darkness for at least 30 minutes before a female voice announced requesting everyone to put out their smoke as it was suffocating for the performers on the stage. Then Britney returned to the stage to perform finish the concert. Britney winded up her performance by saying “Thanks Vancouver. You were wonderful. Drive safe. Don't smoke weed!"

Later a representative for Britney apologized to the fans that attended the concert for the brief pause in the show. Britney and the crew members above the stage became ill due to the ventilation issue.

I think Britney did the right thing in stepping off the stage otherwise the consequences the crewmembers would have faced and the huge number non-smoking audience could have been terrible.

The Liverpool team was baffled by Chelsea seeing that the Liverpool was in a very good form in the recent times, it is more likely that Chelsea would meet the Barcelona in the semifinals of Champions League. The Chelsea fans are already dreaming of a fifth semifinal in the last six seasons.

Liverpool are now hanging on a thin thread to get back into the champions league title. Do you think Chelsea would go onto win the League. I feel they would face a much greater challenge in the Semifinals against Barcelona.

He directed the Justice Department to dismiss their case against Stevens and acknowledged that prosecutors had abused their power by withholding evidence in that case.

He also coated that “In 25 years on the bench, I have never seen anything approaching the mishandling and misconduct that I have seen in this case". After the trial, an FBI agent came forward to complain about the conduct of prosecutors and another agent. And in February, Sullivan held three prosecutors in contempt for not complying with an order to produce documents connected to an investigation of the FBI agent's allegations.

These acts of injustice within the Justice department are rather shocking. Obama is trying to wipeout the corruption in his Justice department. This might bring in more faith among the public towards the Justice department. Judge Sullivan spoke disdainfully of the prosecutors who are held guilty.

All the basis applications on Skype will be available for the users i.e., call and chat. This application would help lots of Skype users including me to stay connected all the time and make calls and chat from my iPhone through Skype. Best of all the application is free and it is really good. The voice clarity is amazing and we can create our Avatar’s by either using an existing photo or by clicking a new pick from iPhone.

Skype has already released it’s application for phones based on Android, Google Inc's mobile system, and Windows Mobile, as well as for Nokia Internet tablets (N97).
I believe Skype’s application for iPhone and for Blackberry (coming soon) will enable Skype to reach more and more users.

Wagoner the CEO of GM has announced that he would step down following a behest from President Obama. Wagoner joined GM in 1977, has had a senior role in GM management since 1992, and became CEO of the company in 2000.

The decision has come after GM had yet again requested the Government to bail it out with $26 billion and the amount is likely to grow. This decision is made after the Auto industry in the US is in the Brick of complete collapse.

Government spoke person confirmed that Wagoner has accepted to step down. The Management however did not confirm the resignation of Wagoner stating that, Obama has to come out with the future plan for the Automobile industry and that the management is working closely with the presidential task force for Auto industry.

It seems that the government has no choice but to take the management of the Auto industry in its hand seeing that the Auto industry is unlikely to come out of the downslide even if the government sanctions and provides the bailout amount.

As for the CEO Wagoner he has played a greater part in steady rise of GM, but he is also accountable for the crisis that GM is facing at the moment it should be noted that the market capitalization of GM has gone down by 90%. It seems harsh to blame Wagoner for the crisis, seeing that the entire economy is at the clutches of recession. He has spent his enter career in General Motors from the time he earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.

We have to wait and see what the new management is going to do to put GM back on the right track.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on arriving at the Mexican capital has ensured that the US would strengthen the security on the border to stop the illegal transit of Drugs and weapons. Clinton on Wednesday pledged to stand ’shoulder to shoulder’ with Mexico in its violent struggle against drug cartels, and also acknowledged that it is inappropriate to blame the Mexican’s as the American demand for cocaine, marijuana, heroin and methamphetamines fueled the trade and promised to shoulder the responsibility.

International peace conference in Johannesburg has been postponed after South Africa refused the Dalai Lama the spiritual leader a visa to attend the event. The conference was for discussing how to eradicate & fight racism and xenophobia as South Africa is getting ready to host the 2010 Soccer World cup. Announcing the postponement at a news conference Tuesday, Irvin Khosa, chairman of the South African football league, did not offer an explanation for the delay. A presidential spokesman had said earlier that the Dalai Lama — Tibet’s spiritual leader and a Nobel Laureate — did not receive a visa because it was not in South Africa’s interest for him to attend. South Africa thinks that, if the Dalai Lama attended the conference, the focus would shift away from the 2010 World Cup — the global soccer championship it will host next year. It is believed that China’s blind hostility to Tibet’s leader has bullied the South African government into refusing a visa. It is disturbing to know that one nations creed is forced upon another however indirectly.

Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome's Colosseum, The Sydney Opera House and the Coco Cola billboard in the Times Square all stood in the darkness.

On March 28 you can VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for one hour. OR you can vote global warming by leaving your lights on.

The results of the election are being presented at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. We want one Billion votes for Earth, to tell the world leaders that we have to take action against global warming.
