Seven-foot plank of launches into the head of an eleven-year-old girl; the nail in the log has pierced into her skull. The Paramedics arrived to take the girl to the hospital but it was impossible for the girl to enter the ambulance as the 7 ft plank was protruding from her skull, Fire and Rescue team was called for to cut the log the girl conscious throughout the process before she was taken to the Royal Hospital for sick children in Edinburgh.
This incident occurred when the young girl was playing with her friends in the woods in West Lothian, building a shelter. The structure collapsed and the 7ft plank of wood crashed into her head.
Lets up pray that she gets well soon and parents please be a little more cautious, life of a child is priceless.
